Cool Guild Wars Should Have A Better Updated Storage and Inventory System? Yes!

(I am posting this again because I was told this is the place to post it. Then a very power hungry and bored moderator comes around and closes it when this is a valid topic. I'm sure this topic has been brought up before, but probably back before a lot of players decided to make an armor collection. So this post is back and hopefully for those who have been dealing with the same issue.)

Guild Wars Should Have A Better Updated Storage and Inventory System? Yes!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love how Anet turned Guild Wars into a melting pot with their three campaigns. However with that said, I was wondering if Anet is going to update the storage and inventory system because they should. Especially for the extrodinarily weathly player that would like to buy it all.

Now we may all have different or similar purposes for our interest with Guild Wars. As a very experienced player, armor is what kept me motivated. I love taking any character and trying to collect different types of ascended armor. It's fun and I think it's cool however with that said, my inventory tends to lose a lot of space.

My male and female assassin (yeah I got two sins, gotta love em)for example has 15k Canthan, 15k Imperial, 15k Kurzick, 15k Luxons, Ancient and Vabbian, (Sorry I don't care for Exotic 15k nor anything basic) along some different masks (including winterfest hats and others from previous festivities) for various scenarios. With that in mention, I wish to also get FOW armor, but I can't because there's absolutely no space and the storage isn't enough especially if you are having more than 2 characters. Oh and I have 7 other characters, most of them getting the full hook up. A lot of players I came across agreed with me and even though Anet should also make special sections for dyes and weapons.

I have been wondering with all the special events and updates Anet has been giving Guild Wars, they'd atleast think of expanding the storage and inventory, especially if they plan on making a fourth chapter and/or more. Some of us, like me like to give our character quite a diverse experience and bring with us some souveniors.

It's about time someone brought this up and now is pretty much the right time. I have about 10 pves and all of them have more than atleast 4 sets of 15k armor. I still plan on getting more, but some I just have no more room for and that was right after the release of Nightfall. Anet should do something about this.

P.S. I hope this topic stays too. To take this off would be based off personal reasons if it did.

Man, find one armor set and STICK with it... i've never understood people who have multiple sets of 15k now that it's all the same skin or insignia based.

First off, some people like collecting different looks. That aside, though, there are practical reasons to have multiple sets. Since different builds require different runes and insignia it can be necessary to have several differently configured armor sets, each for a different build type. Since armor is built customized there really isn't any reason not to have a storage tab for it. An item that can't possibly ever be sold is clearly economically neutral, so the usual economic arguments against greater storage don't really apply.

All that said, this is a rerun thread and will doubtless be slammed shut in short order. Anet's aware of the desire for this, they haven't acted on it for whatever reason, and that's pretty much the end of it. It's already been indexed,, making new threads about it accomplishes nothing.

Amen!! For the same reason, I have "to" many sets of armour and weopons (b4 I get raged I don't have NF so I cant get insignias). Also a rune storage, for obviously reasons would be awesome. Oh and its been said before, but a storage for all your novelty headgear ^^

This is the reason why threads like these get closed. Some people just cannot contain them self. I mean seriously was "NerfNet" really so direly important that you had to put that kind of crap in this thread. If I was a developer I would have instantly closed the tab I had open for this thread and never looked back. Why should I be interested in what someone has to say if all they are going to do is treat me like crap from the get go.

Full bags inside of Full bags has been discussed before and at some point did exists, it was originally classified as bug and has since been "fixed". I think it would be far easier to just increase the capacity of storage. Giving people the ability to store a limitless amount of items only leads to other problems.

Not everyone wishes to take mommy and daddy's credit card to spend on a character slot as a lot of players utilize to buy gw gold off ebay. There are people who farm very hard and earn themselves a collection of armor, runes and so forth that an expansion (not an unlimited storage - which wouldn't be bad either) for such things.

I can also understand why the person used the term NerfNet. We buy the product, we spend our time, we have the right to say as we see fit. Consider it rude or not, but whatever. *Shrugs*.

New storage all the way. Or atleast a new inventory.

Set it up so that any given character can buy more pages of storage with in game coin. Pages bought are exclusive to that character, only the original page is sharable through account.

That way people with multiple builds don't have to lug their armor/weapons around, and you don't have to "dust off" a mule/minipet character to play them.

The suggestion to just buy another account/slot is a little silly, because it requires alot of relogging and loading times, or a whole nother computer.

It'd be a good gold sink, make each page cost 50k or something.

Do not repost threads that have been closed. If you feel it shouldn't have been closed in the first place, PM the moderator that did so and speak with them, but reposting it is only going to get it closed again.
